Pricing for 2025/2026 season was as follows:
*note this is subject to change for future seasons

Rates and Group Sizes:
  • Soloist (1 person) - $300 per person - So you want to be a dog musher? This is a great option for those individuals who are interested in trying their hand at becoming a musher. Get a ride, learn about dog handling, then drive your own team, and maybe even scoop some food or poop! *Learn to mush included - please don't select the Add On option!
  • Duos (2 people) - $450 per group - Great gift idea! Couples, friends, parent/child, or whatever combination welcome! Come and experience our full and fun sled dog excursion. Enjoy a ride in the woods, photo opportunities, learn all about mushing, and much more!
  • Pack (3-4 people) - $600 per group - As dog people, it makes sense that Packs are our bread and butter. We love our couple groups and small families. Every person gets plenty of opportunity to interact with the dogs, learn all about our niche sport, and have a great experience in the Northwoods.
  • Company (5-6 people) - $750 per group - It's always fun to have company! This is a great family or friend group event that will give everyone the opportunity for a sled dog ride and yet have plenty of interaction with the dogs.
  • Party (7-8 people) - $900 per group - A party for the whole gang! We do a lot of hands on with the dogs and give each visitor an exciting ride through our technical trail. Learn to mush is NOT available for large groups of over 7 individuals.
  • Troop (Kid Groups of 10-20 ages 12 and under) - Weekends Only - $1000 per group - We do birthday parties and youth groups for up to 20 kids for children aged 4-12. All children will ride double so having partners pre-planned is a bonus. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate adults for these sessions. Learn to mush is NOT available for large groups of over 7 individuals.

Add Ons - Learn to Mush $20 Per Person (Included with Soloist)
Add on Learn to Mush your very own small team for $20 per person for ages 6 and up. Please bring your own helmet (any type will work including bike or equestrian, but ski or snowboard are ideal).

Make Your Reservation

To make a reservation for our sled dog experience, start by clicking the Book Now button below which will take you to our partner booking engine. Find a date that is green on the calendar and select a time slot that is available.

Please note that we are a racing kennel as well as a touring kennel, so many weekends are unfortunately not available due to the limited number of dogs we have. Book fast as the weekends we do open go quick!

We will be open for the 2025/2026 season on December 20th, 2025 and close on March 15, 2026 (weather depending). We ONLY accept reservations online through RecreoGo with the exception of pre-existing Gift Certificates. Even with the warm winters we've been having - our rides are on: you just may not get a ride on a sled, but instead a cart or four wheeler.

Our 2025/2026 winter season of mushing experiences will be open soon for booking reservations.
Check back later in November 2025 and take a look at the link below for more information.

Cancellations

At the time of making your reservation, a $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required. Within 72 hours of your reservation, the remaining balance will be charged and is not refundable.
Weather-related cancellations: Due to the seasonal nature of our business, cancellations affect us greatly. We rely heavily on snow which can be unpredictable. Top of the Hill Huskies reserves the right to cancel if the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Warning during your scheduled adventure, if snow accumulations make travel to our home unsafe, or if our trails are unsafe for touring. We will make every effort to give you ample warning if a cancellation is likely. We will reschedule your adventure or refund in full in the event of a weather-related cancellation.
